View a Crystal Structure and Its Symmetry
See any crystal in three dimensions, with its magnetic moments, bonds and polyhedra. Vista finds its symmetry, plays each operation on the structure, and works out what the symmetry allows, from Brillouin zones to the exchange between spins. See how to use it.
Your file never leaves your device. How It Works Read and analysed in your browser. The symmetry is found with moyo; everything else is derived from its operations, drawn with three.js and typeset with KaTeX, with the Brillouin zones' labels of ISO-IR and the double groups of Koster, Dimmock, Wheeler and Statz's Properties of the Thirty-Two Point Groups (1963), checked against the Bilbao Crystallographic Server's. The viewer and its group theory began as Find Γ's.
